Dowsing has been practised for centuries but like so many old skills, crafts, cults and beliefs, it fell out of fashion for a long while and has only recently in the last 20 years or so enjoyed a resurgence of popularity.
Its practitioners range from housewives to scientists but probably 30 – 40% of people, and maybe more, have the ability to dowse. Women and children usually have more success than men.
The forked twig was the original tool for dowsing water, minerals, etc. but wire rods made from coat hangers work just as well. The force which moves the twig or rods is a natural force which has yet to be scientifically explained. Whatever the force is, it operates through the medium of the human body and possibly it is our sixth sense at work detecting it.
A pendulum works equally well for dowsing and is far more practical for work inside. I have progressed from dowsing with rods for water and geopathic stress outside, to working inside with a pendulum. Apart from distant dowsing individuals and buildings for the presence of geopathic and electromagnetic stress, I have also found the pendulum invaluable for health dowsing.
I can dowse the body systems of a patient, giving the efficiency of individual organs, test for intolerances and allergies, and dowse for the correct herbs or supplements required to help that patient. I can do this from a distance, using the patients name and with the assistance of a small hair sample as a witness.
